My story

As the granddaughter of “White Russian” emigres in Paris, I grew up in a large, warm and bicultural family. Since 1999 I have been living in Amsterdam (Netherlands) with my Dutch husband and two children. I speak French, Dutch, English and Russian.

After 30 years of working in educational publishing in France and the Netherlands, experiencing and recovering from burn-out has allowed me to find my true calling: coaching. Thanks to coaching I was able to transform a painful experience into a constructive path forward.

I am a positive person
with the capacity to listen actively and with kindness.

I accept you without judgment. You will feel safe and secure, in a place of trust. I know how to create a warm atmosphere. I am interested in people and am at ease with different cultures and spiritualities.
I am a volunteer at the Salvation Army (vulnerable persons) and at the Amsterdam foundation “Trait d’union” (cultural events in French). I am organised and efficient. Dancing, hiking, Pilates and cinema are also an important part of my life.

My qualifications

Associate certified coachI am a certified coach, graduate of the “Solution-Focused Coaching” programme at Erickson International in Quebec and an ACC accredited coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF).
As an ICF member, I am bound by the strict adherence to the ICF code of ethics, among others in the areas of confidentiality and permanent education. I am supervised in my work as a coach.

Coaching is a partnership between a coach and a client. Its aim is to accompany persons through keys moment in their professional or personal life. With a duration determined by mutual agreement, coaching enables the client to define their own objectives and to set tangible and measurable steps to achieving them. By listening actively, asking targeted questions and offering a safe space, the coach allows the client to deepen their self-knowledge, improve their performance and find  – within themselves – the motivation, solutions and energy to achieve their full potential.

The basic principle of coaching is that the client finds the resources for a real transformation within themselves.
Any desire for change may spark the decision to engage in personal coaching.

Coaching helps you to:

  • take a step back to see the things that really matter in your life;
  • formulate goals that correspond to them;
  • find the energy to achieve these goals;
  • anchor the results obtained.

In short, professional coaching helps you become what you wish to be. However, coaching is not the same as consultancy. As a partner in the coaching process, the role of the coach requires that he/she is able to understand the personal and professional issues of his/her client. However, this does not mean the coach is an expert in the client’s business.

Coaching helps you to:

Accreditation indicates that the coach’s training programme has been approved by ICF International.
Certification confirms the professionalism of a coach trained at a coaching school. ICF members are committed to practicing quality coaching meets respects high professional standards (application of the 8 competencies defined internationally by ICF, strict adherence to the ICF code of ethics and the ICF definition of coaching).

I am bound by the ICF Code of Ethics, which calls for total confidentiality.
